Other Ways to Give

United Way Allocations:

Every quarter many businesses give to United Way. If your business does this, please be aware that you can specify that your contribution be allocated to Odyssey Community School, and mailed to: PO Box 17578, Asheville, North Carolina 28816.

Company Matching Grants:

Many companies actually offer to match an employee’s contribution to a non-profit. If your company is such a one your contribution to Odyssey will actually be 100 percent larger than what you give. You might check with your human resource department to see if such a program exists. IRA and 401-K Gifting

After checking with your accountant, you may find that it could be a tax advantage to move heavily taxable IRA or 401-K accounts from your portfolio to a non-profit, tax-deductible organization.  If so, please consider this gifting possibility as something that will benefit the Odyssey Community, Asheville, and your family.
